At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, the Ipogeo dei Cristallini took part in TourismA 2026 with a presentation by director Alessandra Calise Martuscelli:
The ancient city that resurfaces: when invisible heritage generates the future
A precious archaeological site, which remained closed from its discovery in 1889 until 2022: invisible because inaccessible, yet deeply visible for its historical, identity-related and cultural value.
Opening to the public has transformed this hidden heritage into a space for knowledge and participation, capable of generating social impact through processes of inclusion, awareness and cultural regeneration of the local area.
An opportunity to recount how something that remained invisible for over a century can today become a driver of the future.
