HOW TO ARRIVE TO ipogeo
Public transport: Take Metro Line 1 or Metro Line 2 and get off at Cavour station.
By car: The nearest parking is located at Vico Arena della Sanità, 10.
By train: From the Central Station at Piazza Garibaldi, you can take Metro Line 2 (get off at Cavour station).
By plane: From Capodichino Airport, take the Alibus line and get off at Garibaldi stop, where you can catch Metro Line 2 (get off at Cavour station).
HOW TO ARRIVE TO PIO MONTE
The Pio Monte della Misericordia is located in the historic center of Naples near the Cathedral. Walking up Via Duomo from Piazza Nicola Amore, just before the Cathedral, turn right at the traffic lights.
If coming from Piazza Cavour / Via Foria, go about 100 meters past the Cathedral and then turn left. The building is located directly opposite Piazza Cardinale Sisto Riario Sforza.
In this small area stands the Spire of San Gennaro, the first ever built in Naples. On the façade of the building, you will find a banner with the inscription “Pio Monte della Misericordia.”
OPENING HOURS Ipogeo dei cristallini
The Ipogeo dei Cristallini is open from Tuesday to Sunday with tours running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
To ensure a safe visit for everyone and to help preserve the precious paintings, we recommend booking online, which allows you to choose your preferred date and time slot.
Wearing a jacket and head covering is recommended.

Every day: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, last entry at 5:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, last entry at 2:00 PM
Visitors are asked to leave the site 5 minutes before closing time.
